This book is a great book for all ages and is packed with details from every state, from the year it was founded to the state bird. Very detailed and simple enough for a 2nd or 3rd grader to read while containing a wealth of information that is useful for any adult interested in american history. I would have loved to have seen the state flags somewhere within the book but I would still consider this book a handy and highly functional tool within a classroom. I see myself using this to create distance word problems. A great book to add to a geography class for lessons regarding the united states and math as well. ( )

This is a great book for all students! In the book it talks about each state and some fun facts about each state. The illustrations are colorful which grab the reader's attention and sucks the reader into the book to learn more. At the end of the book it also talks U.S. territories and shows all the states in the USA together as a whole. I would recommend this book for grades 2-6. ( )

This book was so cute! It celebrated the fifty states by having each page dedicated to two of them with a colorful map of the state and it's bird, flower, capitol, and many other wonderful facts. I really liked that it gave so much information without being too wordy, which makes it a really good book for early readers to learn about our country and its geography. ( )

This book introduces the 50 states simple enough for young children to understand. On each page there is two states with facts such as the state capital, state flower, state fruit, state bird, and more! There is also a question on each page about each state and the answers can be found in the back of the book. I think this is a great book to have in the classroom for children to look through to learn facts about each state. ( )
