For such a short book, and one written more for kids, this was a very creative story. I love the sentient plant creatures and their crab predators are the stuff of nightmares even for us grown-up readers. I did read the first book in the Star Ka'at series, so I was not completely lost, but I do wish I had read the series in order because there was obviously another adventure in between what I read before and this book, and the previous adventure was referenced enough to make me feel a bit out of the loop, but not to where I didn't understand and enjoy the story. ( ) Funny, I remember it as being longer when I was a kid... This was one of my favorite stories, with telepathic cats and the human children who followed them home (and who keep getting into trouble -- ah, kittens! they're so cute, even when hanging from the drapes!). When my own kid was old enough to be engaged by these books, I immediately had to obtain new copies. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
