Just Imagine Stan Lee's Wonder Woman was the second of DC's Just Imagine... experiment, following Stan Lee's take on Batman. Lee's Wonder Woman is one of the better volumes in this series. The story focuses on Maria Mendoza, a Peruvian woman who wields a mystic Incan staff after her father's death to become a sun goddess. She chases her father's murderer, possessed by Incan demons, to Los Angeles where they battle and she beats him. Lee's reimagining of the character closely resembles the Marvel style of storytelling from the 1960s. As a minor criticism, Lee's plot almost overwhelms artist Jim Lee's ability to pack panels onto the page. Scott Williams and Alex Sinclair's ink and colors are a treat and make the magical elements appear to glow. Though later volumes did not maintain the same quality of storytelling and art, this one's worth checking out. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
