This book is about the small family and their daily life. The smalls reminds me of your average American family in the past years when life was simple. The small Smalls looks up to their mother and father. I enjoyed reading this book because this reminds me of my grandmother and grandfather on how they raised their children and it is being passed down generation to generation. ( )

Family life the way we wish it was - everything works. The Waltons ala Lenski. Church on Sunday - of course! - and nobody in blue jeans. Mom isn't doing yoga to calm down and Dad isn't doing meditation to try to get in touch with his inner man. That's back when they used the Bible to base their lives on.
