A fun kids' book from the dreamy team of Hoban and Blake (I'll admit to being briefly excited by the possibility that I wasn't mixing up Quentin Blake and Quentin Crisp and they were actually the same dude). Dinosaurs beat developers, good message. My favourite part is how it keeps mentioning that "they had a TV and a video" (which naturally is their VCR). ( ) A big corporation has taken over Thunder Mountain. They plan to flatten it build a plastic mountain. (Mr. Flatbrain believes the trees, dirt and animals are too much for people.) The inhabitants are relocated to the dump. With the help of friends the O'Saurus family saves the mountain and introduces nature to the people. The O'Saurus family of Thunder Mountain owns a TV and a VCR, and watch Rocky Dinosaur movies. Even so, the dark side of contemporary life catches up to them when J. M. Flatbrain of Megafright International sends them a letter saying that they have to move. His company wants to build theme park on their land. How the dinosaurs prevail over Flatbrain and his robot-monsters makes for a quirky story full of fun and drama.***SRC Quiz*** sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
When Megafright International flattens their beautiful mountain to put up a hi-tech plastic theme park, the O'Saurus family uses faith and lots of Monsta-Gloo to put things right. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
