This story was a fast read - a cute story, more like a romance than a paranormal. To me this story didn't go into the supernatural enough. Not a bad book, for the light night read. Nothing too demanding to think on here. ( ) Toni Fraser and a few of her good friends have combined all that they have in order to rent a true Scottish castle. There plan...to entertain tourist with a tragic story regarding the castle and it's Laird. They have put a lot of work into their dream and just when they start doing well with their tour and then the impossible happens. The Laird returns. Toni's made up Laird is actually a flesh and blood man, and the history she has created is eerily real. But, when bodies of young women are found murdered and Toni's dreams seem to be just to lifelike to ignore questions start to be asked. Just who is this man and could he have anything to do with the murders? The mystery surrounding the plot of the murdered women will keep the reader engaged, and if that's not enough, the chemistry between Bruce and Toni will. Her descriptive prose will transport you to Scotland both present day and past. This is one read that I recommend for fan's of both Paranormal and Suspense genres. Toni MacNally and her friends think they've hit on the ultimate money making plan. Buy an ancient run-down Scottish castle. Turn it into a tourist destination. Sweep visitors into a reenactment that combines fact and fiction, complete with local history, murder and an imaginary laird named Bruce MacNiall. But when the castle's actual owner - a tall, dark and formidable Scot who shares the fictional laird's name - comes charging in, Toni is shocked. How is it possible he even exists? Toni invented Bruce MacNiall for the performance. . .yet every particle of his being is eerily familiar. Soon the group is drawn into a real-life murder mystery; young women are being killed, and their bodies dumped nearby. And Toni is having sinister lifelike dreams in which she sees through the eyes of the killer - dreams that suggest a connection to Laird MacNiall. Bruce claims he wants to help catch the murderer. But can Toni trust him. . .Especially when his ghostly double wanders the forest in the black of night? I thought I would kick off this years Halloween reads with this book. Was it scary enough, NO. It had a crime, a romance, plenty of silly sex. In fact you could say it was like an episode of Scooby Doo. A mix of characters in a haunted castle racing against time to find out who’s done ‘it’ with a ghost thrown into the mix. I have read some of the authors other books before and I have to say they were a lot better than this one. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

As a child, Toni dreamed of murders about to be committed, a psychic gift she supresses. When her dilapidated Scottish mansion-turned tourist trap becomes a haven for murder, she is plagued by nightmares. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
