Not only was there an actual story, there was drama to go along with Kirby's dramatic art style. There is one issue that gets a little dark too. Their is this white monkey thing that puts fear into people and sometimes causing suicide. Readers of Alan Moore's Swamp Thing might recall the same monster. The other thing I really like was the usage of Camelot. I love how Kirby draws his knights. He makes them look more like superheroes than what they might have looked like. Sometimes I can see were Mark Buckingham drew inspiration within the pages of Fables. I also like this version of Morgaine le Fay and Klarion. Nice to read their first appearances in DC as well. I didn't realize Kirby could handle an occult-related tale, but he managed to maser that as well. Remember, he didn't just draw comic books, he created worlds.
