I can relate to this book because I was a dancer, however it may be difficult for a child to read if they are unfamiliar with the words. The illustrations really caught my eye in this book. I think they are very beautifully drawn with color and creativity. I would definitely keep this book in my classroom for the young dancer who would love to take a look. ( ) Rachel Isadora combines her love of ballet and reintroduces a way of learning the alphabet. The book opens up and turn page by page learning a new latter by using ballet literacy. I loved this book I think it is a different way to capture a child imagineation when learning the alphebet and feel there should be more books like this that can help students learn the alpehpet with different themes. Beginning with the first letter of the alphabet, this book goes through each letter naming something about dance. If you are not a dancer a few of these words may not mean anything to you. There is a dictionary towards the end of the book to help young readers understand what the picture has to do with the word. The book is very colorful and the kids in the book are diverse. All of the kids in the book look like they are around 5-9 years old. The kids look like they are enjoying dancing and the recitals. Some kids are seen stretching while others are getting help from instructors. The word in the book for "S" is sleep which I thought was funny because dancing does make you tired. Youngs dancers would be the most interested in this book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
