Ryan’s family lives at Saddlebow Ranch, where Ryan, an aspiring cowboy, often helps Hank, the ranch foreman, and his crew with the cows. Ryan’s brother Gil and best friend Matt become increasingly involved with a group called the Mountain Patrols, which believes in separation of the races and that the government is interfering with the lives of Americans. Ryan’s more or less on the fence about the whole thing--his Aunt Peg, favorite teacher Mr. Phillips, and cowboy mentor Dennis provide a ballast of opposing opinion. But after the father of his new friend Barry is shot down in a helicopter by one of the mountain patriots because they thought it was the ATF coming, Ryan sees the weakness of Gil and Matt’s beliefs. Walker's Crossing was The best book I have Ever read. Usually when I read a book, I get bored and I don't finish the book. When I read Walker's Crossing, I read the book. I was very interested in the book. I used to want to be a cowboy when I was younger. When Lon Walker got hurt,I thought it was cool that Gil Walker and Ryan Walker helped out on the Ranch. If I was a girl, I would want to be a Junior Rodeo Queen too.Charlene never gave up.I learned alot about what cowboys really do on a Ranch.I urge everyone in the world to read Walker's Crossing. It's a great book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
