All the tales you thought you knew but described accurately as far as I can tell with useful contexts. This covers the arts to some extent but is a bit light on science and also I think on social developments, politics and the unions. It is inevitably a bit sanitised and we could do with some more chapters on "Sickening stories from Britains past" e.g. the opium wars, the Indian takeover, carving up Africa, however most of the bad stuff was admitted.
