It was relatively enjoyable if not all that involved and had a few good twists, if not utterly predictable for older readers. There were some funny comments afterall; "saddle old Sherlock Holmes with an Italian mother and see how many cases he'd crack." 3 stars for preteen. 2 stars for my own rating. ( ) A good simple detective story that provides a laugh and 'i know who done it' for students aged 10 -12. I read it to classes as they came through the library and it generated interest in mystery genre as well as conjecture. When dear old Mrs Tuck, who's run the school canteen for years, is replaced by a slick new caterer, a chain of nasty culinary disasters causes some serious upsets. Is it sabotage? Is in the sauce? Can Angelo, the Angel, solve the mystery that has the whole school on the run? sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
