I've been looking for instructions on how to set up the warp on a rigid heddle loom. For the loom I have, everything seems geared towards buying a pre-warped kit, rather than learning to do it yourself. This has precise instructions for doing it yourself. Highly recommended. ( ) This is both an overview and a project book on weaving on three different types of looms — the frame loom, rigid heddle loom and the 4-harness loom. Each loom has its advantages. The frame loom is the simplest, least expensive, loom you can use. The loom does hold threads under tension, but that is all it does. The rigid heddle loom does that but it often allows you to put on a larger warp and does make a shed more easily. The 4-harness loom makes it possible for you to make more complex patterns easier than you can on the other looms. If you have not yet decided which route you ought to follow in your own weaving, this book may help you come to a conclusion. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
