A bird damages its wing from hitting a glass window on a building. No one notices the injured bird on the street besides a little boy named Will. Will takes the bird home and helps it with its healing journey. At the end of the book, the bird is able to fly again and takes off. I really loved the use of color in this book besides everything is dull or in black in white on the street, besides Will and his bright red coat. He illuminates the page by bringing light into the bird's life by caring. I think this is very powerful image and great use of color. I enjoy the illustrations in this book that are done by using pen, chalk, and watercolor. This book would be great for primary readers. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

When Will finds a bird with a broken wing, he takes it home and cares for it, hoping in time it will be able to return to the sky. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

A sweet little story, told with few words and simple illustrations, but it touched my heart in a big way. ( )
