I wanted to like this book more than I did. Marcella has led an interesting life and I know that her husband has been a big part of that, but I didn't care for him. (

Hazan is much better at cookbooks than memoir. (

good book about author's life as a cookbook writer. She did have some history, a litlle drama, a little personal tragedy. Nice read, not too complicated. Made me want to explore REAL Italian cooking. (
