Responsible high school student who gets good grades. Best friend to Simi Gartolini. Evangelistic teenager who witnesses to others. But lately, she’s taking on another new role—drinking party girl. It started off one day when she was invited to a party by Claire Phillips, a member of the “in” crowd. At that party Amber drinks part of a beer. She rationalizes it by thinking, “really what’s wrong with that? I mean, even Jesus drank wine with his friends. And wasn’t his first miracle turning water into wine?” Soon after, her life starts to spin wildly out of control. Sneaking drinks here and there, she is horrified to find herself driving under the influence, lying to friends and family, and using a fake I.D. to attend nightclubs. Her new friend Claire really needs her—she is the real alcoholic, drinking every day in every situation. Amber tells herself she is helping, but is Amber really being a good influence on Claire, or is Claire dragging Amber down? Events escalate until a horrible tragedy forces Claire to confront her own behavior. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
