The author chose great character names and the mystery of who stole the ring was interesting. However, it just seemed odd. This book is part of a series and it might make more sense to me if I read the books that came before this one. I did not realize this when I chose the book. ( ) Piggins and the Royal Wedding by Jane Yolen tells the story of a pig butler who helps royalty find their stolen wedding ring. This book is strictly for entertainment, I am quite sure, because kids do not really learn anything from the book. It is short, quick, but the illustrations are well done. The characters in the book are animals, so maybe after reading this book you could ask questions about the types of animals they saw. Piggins solves another case! This time the case of a missing wedding ring at a royal wedding. My only complaint about this one is that they never explain who was guilty - they just say it was a groomsman. They don't say why he did it or show him being captured or anything. But it's a small complaint because Piggins himself is the star of the show and he's cute as ever. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
