Do you own a Singer Featherweight? I do now, thanks to my very generous mom. Quilters like us covet these machines. One such quilter wrote this book, which is a very good guide on the history and manufacturing of Singer Featherweights. This volume also includes most pages of a facsimile edition of the original owner's manual.

This edition (the most recent) harkens back to the 1990s, so the author talks a lot about pounding the ground finding information and acquiring machines -- something that is much easier to do with the internet (i.e. eBay) and websites focusing on the Singer Featherweight. But still, a this is must for all Singer Featherweight owners, especially those who intend to actually use their machines. ( )
