A realistic look into the life of a firefighter at the busiest fire station in the country. ( ) Oh how I loved this book. This is a must read for everyone that lives in the city -- especially an urban city. It's written in the 1970s and the rules / laws of firefighting have changed but not much has changed since then, unfortunately. After reading this book you can write me down as a fan of firefighters and will happily read more novels on firefighting. I really have nothing more to say -- just read it and respect your firefighters! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

From his bawdy and brave fellow firefighters to the hopeful, hateful, beautiful and beleaguered residents of the poverty-stricken district where he works, Dennis Smith tells the story of a brutalising yet rewarding profession. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
