This book came across quite whimsical to me. At first I thought this book was meant to be educational but then you get to the quirky pages where you have dragons and Santa Claus. My over all thought is this could be used as a science book for very young children to peak their interest in nature, the sky more specifically. ( )

The sky may appear to be empty, but it definitely isn't. This book, best for ages 4 and up, explores what is arguably one of the most fascinating aspects of nature, the sky. The story provides, along with an array of large, colorful illustrations, a list of things that could possibly be in the sky at any moment, both real (the sun, airplanes), and fictional (griffins, UFOs).
