When I had to take World Civilizations I was appauled that we spent such short time on a piece from Walden so I bought myself a copy. I was failing the class but I was enthralled in Thoreau's ideas. I begged my professor to let me do a paper on Walden. So I spent the rest of that course sitting under an amazing tree outside the classroom pouring over Walden, enjoying the solitude (and not having to go to class). I passed with a C but never forgot my time with Walden under that tree. This book of (mostly) photography in and around Walden Pond that includes inspiring quotes from the book. The photographs serve as a meditation of sorts for me, reminding me of the power of nature and of contemplation. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
