Very cute, short chapter book about an 8 year old girl named Cleo who has a very unusual Saturday. It was appealing to my son and 2 daughters. ( ) Age Appropriatness: primary This book is a good example of contemporary realistic fiction because it is a story of Cleo getting stiches after a toy shelf falls on top of her. The character Cleo is a round and dynamic character because the author gives us a lot more information about her and her family and her thoughts. The media in this book is pencil. Uh-oh Cleo by Jessica Harper was a cute story about a girl who has to get stitches. I liked this one because Cleo, the main character, has a great imagination. She tells the story in a cute, funny way and she puts in details about how she talks to her dolls and how she gets along with her brother and sister and the rest of the family. There weren’t a lot of illustrations, just black and white drawings, but they did go along with the story and helped you to picture Cleo and her family. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
