I have so many of Alexandra Stoddard's books they almost take up a full shelf in my library. Her outlook on life is fantastic. This book is kind of a departure because she is talking about the details of decorating rather than mixing it in with her gracenotes. I learned alot about different floors and furniture. The only thing I cannot understand is her insistence on white walls and curtains. Too sterile for me! ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Alexandra Stoddard continues her creative and insightful guidance by showing us how to make our homes a real expression of our true selves. Her own bold ideas about color, pattern, and texture are affordable tips from her own vast experience involving every imaginable decoration problem. From lighting a room to adding fabrics, furnishings, and the perfect finishing touches, she offers her expertise while always encouraging us to listen to our inner voice for the final answer.
