Read from the perspective of 10 years after the US invaded Afghanistan and "lost" Bin Laden, possibly for good, this makes especially good reading. Clearly the author is no fan of Clinton but this seems to be a fair evaluation of what happened. What it does show is how events of an office that turns over often every 4 years are filled with small details of getting starting so important things fall by the way. The lesson is pay more about foreign affairs during and immediately the tranistion. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Journalist Rich Miniter uses his unparalleled access to sources and stories throughout the Middle East, Africa, and the United States. He paints a devastating portrait of how close the U.S. military was to killing bin Laden--on multiple occasions--and how, each time, Clinton dropped the ball and allowed bin Laden to grow stronger and more dangerous.
