Being an account of the military campaigns of the Civil War in Virginia, with a quick look at the state's politics and home front. These campaigns have been overstudied, and there is very little here that any schoolchild doesn't know. The book is very basic, particularly for a university press publication; it basically is written at a YA level. It also approaches its subject with a pronounced pro-CSA slant. It's a very quick read, but there's little else to recommend it. . ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
