This book is kind of different from what I thought it was going to be. I didn't really follow the storyline very well. It was mostly about an old, spanish lady who is going about her day talking to the cat and talking to the birds. Not much really happens other than that.

The cool part about this book is that it uses Spanish and English. It would be great to use if you had bilingual students or students trying to learn Spanish or English. It would probably be best for children between second and fourth grade. The older ones will find it boring because there isn't much that happens but the really young ones probably wouldn't find the pictures or story very interesting because neither is very busy.
