I thought the history was a little confusing (like one guy invented the photobooth, but another person also did at just about the same time? So is there really one inventor? What does the author mean by inventor anyway?) but also interesting.

But the photos, they were stunning.

I remember always wanting to take photobooth pictures as a kid, and being told no (too expensive, too much time) and so I cherish the few memories I have of going in them and getting to do it. These days I will pop in one any time I see one (which is admittedly not often). Maybe I don't care that today's are digital because I have no memory of black and white film ones... but that's where this book focuses.

Wonderful book about the American Photobooth experience! Made me feel very nostalgic thinking about the old one in the Woolworth's I used to visit during my youth. ( )
