As this was the only sequel to "The Grand Escape" the library had at the time, I grabbed it. Maybe I was too old, but as much as I enjoyed the book for a look at the characters I liked, I just felt it was a little overdone. Texas saying a "cat who can reeeeaaad" like that over and over got annoying when he did it maybe twice in the original book. Still, I enjoyed it. ( ) Carlotta is having her kittens, and the male feline members of the Club of Mysteries want to find her and make certain mom and kittens are safe. Carlotta gets her kittens to the "clubhouse" which is someone's garage. The male cats help Carlotta teach her kittens how to fend for themselves as they attempt to find homes for the kittens so they don't end up at the dreaded "pound." I suspect younger readers who like cats would find this interesting. Children who have an expectant mother cat in the household will learn all sorts of things about young kittens and their development in this story. I expected more of a mystery to the story than their was since the series was "Club of Mysteries," making me a little disappointed in the overall story. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
