This is the diary of 12-year-old Sarah Simpson, whose parents have just divorced. She's upset about it, but she learns to accept it. Sounds cliche, but it's actually a pretty cute book, and very short (only 84 pages). Sarah's voice rings true. ( ) Twelve-year-old Sarah Simpson’s life has changed a lot in the past year, and she writes lists in her journal. And the lists are many, considering her father has a new young wife in California and her mother is moving in with her boyfriend. This book would be a good addition to a class library because it deals with divorce and how girls would cope. Although the book is written about an older girl I think this book would be good for fourth or fifth grade. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
