Stella Forsyth is a widow, trying to run her deceased Mom's B & B in rural Arkansas; along with raising her son and taking care of her ailing Dad. When Adam Callahan appears on the front porch to see about a room he sees a very frustrated Stella through the kitchen window, where she is burning yet another dish to serve her boarders. Adam quickly helps her out (he is a good cook thankfully) and from there Adam and Stella will both help each other heal.
