Herge must have been the type of person you'd just love to have over for an afternoon chat. He's masterful in creating these Tintin adventures...which seem to be timeless as my 12 year old son loves reading them as much as I do. ( ) I think Tintin in Tibet is one of my favorites from the series. I vaguely remember it the best from my childhood. Herge did a good job not making the Yeti a focused character and even though he exits in the Tintin universe, he is still a mystery. All we know is that the Yeti does care for some human life. I also like this volume too because most of these books you kind of have to read them in order to get what is going on. There is a story. For my money, this volume includes the very best of the Tintin adventures, and given that Herge was a master of the form to begin with, it's not much of a stretch to suggest that the creator's craft had reached the level of true art at this stage. By the late 1950's, Herge's composition, line, and plotting were all superior, and reached their culmination in Tintin in Tibet, probably the single greatest work of his career. Even stock characters from earlier adventures, such as Professor Calculus and the Thompson Twins, are portrayed with greater nuance and sympathy in these adventures, making them more interesting at the same time that their ongoing role as comic straight men is preserved and honored. Matched against the wonderful use of color and Herge's impeccable line work, these elements work seamlessly together to deliver a rare experience of graphic literature and adventure stories - absolutely not to be missed! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
