In this story the reader follows the young Jesse Bear through the preparations on halloween. Showing the reader that there is nothing to be afraid of on such a fun night. I enjoyed the book because it addressed many of the fears I had on Halloween growing up. Being a book the is shifted toward younger children i would recommend ages 4-6 read this book. ( )

Not nearly as good as Jesse Bear, What Will You Wear? but it's the same characters. So, if your child, like mine, is a fan of that book, he'll probably enjoy this one anyway. The picture are good, but the story, including the rhyming, is really less than average. ( )
