Darth Caedus (Jacen) continues to take actions most of the galaxy sees as evil while perceiving himself to be acting in the best interest of the galaxy. Jaina, the only remaining child of Han and Leia, embarks on a mission to kill the Sith who was once her twin. This one concludes the Legacy Of The Force series, chronicling the rise and fall of Jacen Solo in the now defunct Expanded Universe (also affectionately known as the Legends series now). Jaina ironically trains with Boba Fett, who once nearly brought about the destruction of her father, in preparation of confronting her twin brother, now known as Darth Caedus. A somewhat emotionally flat galactic battle occurs in the background as Jaina embarks on her quest to destroy her brother, all the while other familiar players are positioning themselves politically for the aftermath of the various conflicts. A good read, but not a great one, as it ends up somewhat underwhelmingly with several issues unanswered, presumably to be addressed in the upcoming Fate Of The Jedi series, which ended up being the last with familiar EU characters. the end of the Legacy series. I was glad it was done. Jaina kills Caedus, who in the end allows himself to be killed so that he can send a warning to Tenel'ka about a virus directed at their daughter. Everything just wrapped up so quickly and neatly once Caedus was out of the way. The series went out with a whimper, in my opinion. This book was as good as the rest of the series though. I hadn't ever read a Star Wars book about what happens after the movies, but this was fairly enjoyable. It was a bit weird, like I got the feeling that people really, really get into what might have happened to the characters after the movies. I'm not crazy about Star Wars that way, but because of the movies I was already familiar with the main characters and their special Jedi powers, which made this easier to understand. Overall it was a fairly good book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
