Here is an ideal supplement to classroom textbooks for students learning Portuguese. The most frequently-used Portuguese verbs are presented alphabetically in table form, one verb per page. Each verb is completely conjugated in all tenses with English translations. A new index in this edition lists an additional 1,000 verbs with English translations, cross-referenced to verbs that are similarly conjugated in the main text. Language students will find additional material covering idiomatic verb usage, grammatical construction, and more. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

As well as an English-Portuguese verb index, there is a Portuguese-English verb index that goes beyond the verbs in the main part of the book; very usefully, for those that are irregular or need pronouns, a model verb in the main part of the book is given as an example for conjugation. While Brasilian Portuguese does not use reflexive verbs as much as Spanish, there are plenty of examples of the use of reflexive verbs.
This book is practically a must as an aid for studying Portuguese. ( )
