Bold, colorful, and historically accurate illustrations adorn a classic Chinese folktale, in which seven brothers use their supernatural gifts to overpower a cruel emperor. Each brother has their own special power or ability that helps them escape the emperors traps. When one brother is in trouble the other goes to help using their special ability. This makes the emperor mad and confused because he has no idea how the brothers escape. This book is a great way for students to make predictions. It is also a great way for students to retell other ways that the chinese brothers could have saved themselves. This book was about seven Chinese brothers that all had a different talents or powers to offer. When one of the brothers was captured, they all switch places to overcome the challenges they had to face. At the end all of the brothers used all of their powers and were able to defeat the evil emperor. A teacher can use the book to talk about what talent each student has and even compare it to the others in the classroom. I rated this book a four because some of the wording is confusing and also naming the brothers would be less confusing when reading the book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
