Not as good or captivating as the original series: (Review found here: https://www.librarything.com/work/272723/reviews) but worth it to check out if you are a huge fan like myself. There's still some of the well-loved dark elements found in the original that transfer over to this new series that doesn't make it too terribly different. It's highly recommended to check out the first series that inspired this one. It just didn't reinvent the wheel for me. ( )
