Is time travel really possible? Temporal anomalies are scattered throughout the world-things that could not possibly belong to the time period in which they were found. Scientists have discovered artifacts and skeletal remains of men and women dating millions of years before humanity evolved on the planet. Where did they come from? How did they get here? Are these anomalies the physical evidence of time travelers from our future? The Physics: There is nothing in Newtonian physics, Einstein's Theory of Relativity, or the laws of quantum mechanics to deny the possibility of time travel. In fact, the very latest findings of physicists show that time travel, at the subatomic level, is already taking place. The Techniques: The frontiers of modern physics all point toward a deep involvement of the human mind in the world around us . . . including an involvement in the processes of time itself. This maverick guidebook presents a series of techniques that allow you and your friends to engage in an actual experiment in time travel-an experience that will change your world view forever.… (más)

Pseudoscience at its best/worst. A mildly entertaining and occasionally accurate pop-science discourse on temporal physics is blended with laughable stories about ghosts, aliens, telepathy, and other kitchen-sinky cultural memes (the Loch Ness Monster even shows up, if I remember correctly). Brennan strings readers along with a tease that the last chapter of the group will tell you how to personally time travel, which turns out to involve sitting in a dark room with a group of friends and pretending you are doing so.
