At times our world seems to be spinning out of control. Marriages are disintegrating. Many children need medication to help them through the school day. A growing number of adults and youth are searching for something that is missing in their lives.Freedom and wholeness come when we choose to live within boundaries. We seek compassionate limits drawn by the civil society and the church. We need boundaries that connect to our covenant with God. These help us in our relationships with each other and speak to our long-term good.The issue is not whether to have fences; it's which fences, where to place them, and who should put them up.
