Myra is the head of the sisterhood, and is a very classy, wealthy woman. When the girls return to the states, they come back disguised as a rauncy rock band. Myra is forced to appear on stage as one of the group and the whole discussion and mental anguish make for really fun reading sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

The participants of the sisterhood are characters that are well developed and each have their own separate and distinct personalities from Annie who is older and ready for any adventure to Katherine who appears to be harder and more grounded.
The seven friends who are also called "The vigilantes" take matters into their own hands when a severe injustice has been done. Part of them are exiled, so to speak, in Spain but when a friend Chief Justice Pearl Barnes is threatened by her ex-son-in-law to expose her illegal underground railroad which gets abused women and their children to safety.
In their very special way they come back to the U.S. and join with the other members of the Sisterhood to help. Maggie's boyfriend, a dogged reported for the Post, is in my opinion, is a sleaze ball and on a mission to reveal the undercover Vigilantes. He goes to the extent of going through Maggie's belongings and steals vital papers and her encrypted phone used by the Sisterhood.
Hokus Pokus is a fast paced, fun as well as intriguing story.
