The suspense was not particularly suspenseful, and the ending was terribly predictable. The only part that came as a shock was when she actually found the corpse, and had I remembered the little excerpt that was on the back, I would have been looking forward to that moment the whole time I was reading. Plot development was severely lacking and characters were a bit one-dimensional, but I quite liked the writing itself. The style was enjoyable to read. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Billy the lad, nihilistic Petruchio, hippy Chris, rational Juliet, Kerry the drama queen. A claustrophobic student house in Glasgow: cigarettes and alcohol, soft drugs, carefully casual sex and showing off. Until Juliet finds a dead body at their digs. And then it disappears. The quantum theory of Schrodinger's cat has always appealed to Juliet's scientific mind. Polar opposites can co-exist simultaneously - life and death, black and white, good and evil. And as Juliet gets deeper involved in Kerry's fantasies, another division begins to obsess her - that between lies and truth. Because Kerry inhabits a world of lies, and rational, logical Juliet has to question the evidence of her senses, not to mention her sanity
