I love all of the other Lynn Ames books. Sadly, this one felt uncharacteristically weak to me. It is quasi-Uberesqe, but she seems to go out of her way to avoid that characterization. The partners meet and fall in love almost instantly - soulmates with many of the X/G uber character traits. But it is all talk, talk, talk - over analysis. Frankly, it reads like a Lifetime movie of the week. A rather trite romance, IMHO. Predictable, and pretty annoying. (
