Most suitable for pre-kindergarten students, a cute story in which a bear tries to play hide-and-seek with the moon. Our copy is a bit small and dimly printed, so may or may not work with a large story-time. ( ) For over 30 years Frank Asch has been writing and illustrating children's books. He has written in multiple genres for children including poetry, non-fiction, concept books and novels. "Moongame" is an engaging story of Bear and Little Bird playing hide and seek all day. When the moon comes out for a while it's just the moon and Bear playing, until Bear fears that the moon is permanently lost. Moongame is an adorable story about woodland animals playing hide and seek in the woods. I like many aspects about the book. Being that it is for lower level readers, the pictures and text are very appropriate choices. I also like how the author involves number practice. Throughout the text he will repeat the numbers 1 through 10 as the bear hides in the woods. This reinforces what young students are already practicing and makes for a fun and engaging story time. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
