This is a wordless picture book that has directions for counting games to play. A great book for children learning how to count! ( ) This counting concept book is amazingly creative and the pictures are drawn with careful detail. Each character is drawn with care, as are the details of the house (including the basement!) The concept of the book is like nothing that I've seen before. The characters slowly move from one house to the other as the reader flips pages. The other fun aspect of this book, is that it can be read backwards. This book has endless uses in the classroom to be used to introduce and practice counting and math. It is designed in such a way that a creative story can be told, unrestricted as to the kinds of math equations that can be applied, either concretely or conceptually. A wordless counting book for older students. An explanation is given at the beginning for how to use the book. I would not use this with young students becasue it would be difficult for them to follow, but older students can use this to do a variety of math activities like number relationships and patterns. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
One by one, ten children move from their old house into their new house with all their possessions. Die-cut windows reveal the interiors of the houses and the book can also be read from back to front. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
