( ) Strictly supplemental material for the film. Brett Weldele's drawings are exceptional for the movie tie-in, so I will give credit where credit is due. If you haven't seen the film, you should plan to see it shortly after reading the graphic novel, as how the stories tie together, flesh out and end are all answered in the film. I saw the film first - the graphic novel fills in a few gaps, but that's about it. This prequel to the movie should be required before you head to the theater. It puts so much of the strange events that take place in the film into context. It's 2008, and in the wake of the "American Hiroshima" attacks in Texas and the subsequent World War III, the next presidential election will be decided only by the state of California. Interstate travel is highly regulated, and a growing neo-Marxist movement is trying to take control, at least in the Southland. Boxer Santaros, a famous actor, goes missing, setting off a chain of events that will lead to the apocalypse. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
