Grandma creates the fun of a beach when email y mom is unexpected called to the office at start of their summer outing Emily's and Stanley's unspoken thoughts and feelings. i think this book show the powerful imagination and a loving granny make for spectacular fun.

Emily want to go the beach with her mom, but at the same min her mom has to go to work. since mom has to go to work, Emily has to go to her grandmother house for the day. once she become that she didn't get to go to the beach, her grandma set up her backyard to make it look like a beach.

Story about a little girl named Emily. She had plans to go to the beach with her mom, but her mom had to go to work. Emily goes to her Grandma's house instead, which is nowhere near the beach. Grandma makes it fun anyways....

This book is appropriate for 1st or 2nd grade. Teachers should also tie this book in with a lesson about appreciating what you already have.
