Kimberly Quincy is contacted by local police about a hooker claiming a serial killer is preying on her colleagues. Arguing about slowing down because of her pregnancy, Kimberly gets too close to the killer, who wants her to become a victim too. ( )

If you don't like spiders, don't read this book. It's otherwise a great thriller. ( )

Too creepy. Very good thriller and suspense ( )

The creepy factor of this book is the killer has a thing for spiders, as in brown recluse and tarantula spiders. The premise of the story is the abduction and death of a series of prostitutes, but that's incidental to the heroine, Kimberly Quincy, finding the bad guy and the bad guy abducting and controlling children. Although it's not graphically descriptive of what he does to the children, the imagination fills in plenty - from that standpoint it's a bit gruesome and not for the faint hearted. An average thriller/mystery. ( )

This was a typical Lisa Gardner mystery. I really enjoy reading her books when I want something fast and entertaining. she manages to weave a tale that is both intriguing and a bit mysterious.

I realize that I have not said anything about the content of the book, but is this really a book that one has to go into a lot of detail about? It is not. If you like FBI crime series, then this is a book that you will enjoy. ( )
