I really liked Hattie, she was just the right balance of insecure and independent. She accepted that she was not considered attractive, and was strong because of it, but it still pained her. Made for some good angst too! I really liked this couple. The sex scenes we a bit too cheesy for my taste, though. ( ) Yes! A truly plain heroine!
