In these three classic stories, the Saint investigates crimes that have left the police confounded. In The High Fence, he hunts down a villain who somehow manages to kill people just before they can reveal his identity; The Elusive Ellshaw sees him on the track of a man meant to have died a year before; and a letter calling for help sends him to a sleepy seaside pub disturbed by mysterious underground rumblings in The Case of the Frightened Innkeeper. One thing is sure: despite death threats, gunfire and kidnapping, the Saint will go on until his curiosity is satisfied. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

The first story The High Fence is about a fence who is proving very elusive and is good a hiding himself from those below him. He comes to the attention of the Saint partially because the Saint becomes a prime suspect, so he feels he has to prove his innocence (of this at least!)
The Second story was the Elusive Ellshaw. When Mrs Ellshaw comes to the Saint to help find her husband who has gone missing which leads the Saint to nearly being blown up and into an adventure to find out what's going on.
The last story The Case of the Frightened Innkeeper is the story of a damsel in distress, strange noises at night and a mystery that he needs to solve.
All of the stories are fun and all of the characters are in top form. ( )
