The poems are about the classroom teacher everything that is at school. Summary: All we needed to say is about two girls that are in the same classes at school. This book goes through the day with these girls and through out their classes. It shows how one girl like certain subjects and the other girl like different subjects. They both have opposite opinions. Personal Reaction: I really liked this book. I liked how it showed that each girl liked something the other didn't. It made me realize that each student have individual personalities and you need to try and make the day interesting for all the students. Classroom Extensions Ideas: 1. Have each student write about their school day in a journal for a day. Then the next day break them into small groups and compare and contrast what they did and what they thought about it. 2. Have each student write about poem about their favorite subject in school. Summary: This book is a book of poems that doesn't rhyme. They are in the point of view of 2 little girls, Sophie and Tanya. The poems go through their school day, from when they wake to when they go home. Personal Experience: I really liked the poems of when the girls tell about going to the library. It made me want to curl up and read a book. Also the poems used a lot of alliteration, which I enjoy. Classroom Ideas: 1. I would have my students write a collection of poems explaining how they feel throughout the school day in each subject. 2. This book would be a great example to introduce the literary device, alliteration. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
