The girls meet up again and become actual friends as they had started out as in Class Reunion. At the end, I kept wanting more pages b/c I wanted to know what happened to them. (I'd convinced myself on the last page that I saw more text and was disappointed when there wasn't more!) Everyone's "second" life seemed to be working for them and they seemed to be happy. It's kind of like they fell into something wonderful instead of going towards something that they were "supposed" to want. This books makes me seriously think about the things I want in my own life. 25 yrs after Radcliffe - ok - 4 girls / 4 Harvard men - okay Emily, Chris, Daphne, and Annabel. They left college with their hearts full of radiant hope, their heads full of impossible dreams. They married "perfect" men, expected to have "perfect" children, found exciting jobs and glamorous careers. Yet heartbreak lay hidden behind the illusions of perfection. Life would force them to confront the mistakes of the past and the betrayals of the present...to create powerful new visions...to meet the irresistible challenge of the way we are now. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

The popular sequel to Class Reunion, Rona Jaffe's After the Reunion continues the heartwarming story of Daphne, Emily, Chris, and Annabel five years after their class reunion. The affluent quartet, now in their mid-forties, is each coping with romantic and domestic problems at home while trying to outgrow the social and moral codes that controlled them during their Harvard years. After the Reunion is a return to some of Rona Jaffe's most beloved characters, and readers will undoubtedly embrace their own reunion with these characters on the page.
