This is a great book for students to learn about spelling and decoding words to help spell. Confidence and studying also is in this book which students can be encouraged to have and do. ( ) In my opinion, this is a great book on dilemmas for children. The plot, the writing, and the way the book pushes readers are my reasons for liking the book. First, the plot has a good conflict to keep the readers interested in the story. Sister bear discovers she is good at spelling and ends up going for a chance at Big Bear City's spelling bee despite her true feelings about spelling. Second, the writing in the story was organized very well because there was a lot of text and dialog. The story never felt like it was lagging, each moment of the story progressed smoothly. Third, this book pushes the reader to really think about the dilemma of doing something for yourself instead of doing it for others. Doing what makes you happy is the most important. Sister bear loved playing soccer instead of competing in a spelling bee. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

"Sister Bear has made it to the school spelling bee! Papa Bear is very proud and excited to help her practice...and practice...and practice.... But will all of this p-r-a-c-t-i-c-e take all of the f-u-n out of spelling for Sister?"--p. [4] of cover. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
